COMPLEX FOREST MANAGEMENT FOR FAE PRODUCTS IN SERBIA

The Serbian landscape is characterized by considerable diversity, including natural features such as plains, mountains, hills and rivers. Among these varied environments, woods and forests play a particularly important role in the country's ecosystem.

Mountain ranges, such as the Carpathians and the Balkans, extend mainly across central and southern Serbia, and forests cover a significant part of the territory, with a variety of tree species, including oak, beech, fir and pine.

Numerous attachments from FAE’s Land Clearing line are used for forestry management projects in Serbia, thanks to the work of FAE's dealer in Serbia, VGP.

VGP is a company based in Novi Sad, the third largest city in the country. “We deal with international and national trade, in particular the import, export, representation and sale of agricultural and forestry machinery on the domestic market,” says owner Vladimir Vasiljević.

“The company was founded in 1990, and we have been successfully collaborating with FAE for many years. We market the Land Clearing range and the PT tracked vehicles. This is one of our most successful collaborations with a renowned global machinery manufacturer. It has been conducive to our goal of offering our customers only top-of-the-range products,” says Vladimir.

Another element that VGP focuses on is after-sales service. “Our sales and service team is available to all our customers, with whom we have long-standing and friendly relationships. We are committed to meeting their needs and providing timely and efficient support service”, explains Vladimir. “This is a very important point, essential for those who choose to buy an FAE product.”

“FAE models are highly appreciated in our country for their reliability. We mainly sell mulchers for small tractors and 20 to 25-ton excavators. The RCU75 remote-controlled tracked carrier is also attracting a lot of interest: in 2024 we sold one, which is proving very effective at working on steep slopes”, says Vladimir.

The RCU75 was purchased by Rasadnik GREEN IN and is being used to clear embankments along a railway line in the south of the country.

In May 2018, the company's operations were transferred to a new sales and service center, located on the Novi Sad-Rumenka route. The brand-new building and warehouse house a fully equipped workshop, a spare parts warehouse and offices. The complex also includes a large exhibition space and its own customs warehouse.

“At the end of 2024, I visited the FAE headquarters as part of a training event dedicated specifically to dealers. It was great to see where each FAE machine is produced and to receive high-quality training from the FAE Service team. We are very satisfied with this long-standing collaboration, and I believe we will continue to work together for a long time to come”, concludes Vladimir.
